Our services run deep and are backed by over ten years of experience.

Booking and cancellation policies

Booking Policies

All reservations require a 30% down payment of the total stay.

Reservations at the hotel require credit card guarantee.

Guests will receive a confirmation e-mail within 24 hours of making their reservation.

Rates in Chilean pesos (CLP) include 19% sales tax (VAT).

Rates in U.S. dollars (USD) are tax-exempt, valid only for foreigners who are not Chilean residents, and upon presen-tation of their passport and immigration card.

Rates include a continental breakfast at the hotel from 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m.

All rates are subject to change without prior notice.

  • Check-in:  From 3:00 p.m. Early Check-in: From 9:00 a.m., fee of 30% of the agreed-upon daily rate. This service will be subject to the Hotel availability.You must confirm with staff in charge.


  • Check-out: Before 11:30 a.m. Late Check-out: From 4:00 p.m., fee of 30% of the agreed-upon daily rate. This service is subject to Hotel availability. Please confirm ahead of time with the front desk.


Cancellation and no show policies

  • All reservations cancelled 21 days or more before the arrival date will receive a full refund of the down payment.
  • Cancellations made 7 days or more in advance, the amount paid will not be refunded. The possibility of rescheduling your reservation will be given until October 31, 2023, applying the corresponding rate adjustments and subject to availability.
  • For cancellation less than 7 days in advance or No Show, the total value of the reservation will be charged.

All cancellations must be confirmed by the hotel staff in writing to be valid.


Early departure: If the guest checks out before the departure date indicated on his or her reservation, the down payment is non-refundable.


Booking and cancellation conditions Covid-19

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic we are taking all of the necessary sanitization measures to prevent the risk of contagion for our guests and our staff, based on the cleaning and disinfection protocols we have implemented.

At Alto Melimoyu we have decided to make our reservation and cancellation conditions more flexible in the face of the COVID-19 pandemic. The modifications are:

Free cancellation: If you are unable to make your reservation due to closed borders, we offer a 100% refund on the amount paid.

Flexible reservation: In the event of other unforeseen circumstances related to COVID-19, such as contagion, quarantine, flight changes and/or cancellations, among others, your reservation will be available for one year from the date of cancellation at no extra charge.
